If I am not flyfishing or creating fishingflies you can find me outside, enjoying nature.

I am fortunate to live in an area of natural beauty, like beautiful woods and polder-land.

I am a active member of a organisation called ( IVN) where I, with a group of volunteers give a helping hand to nature. The majority of the time we spend creating a natural habitat for the Kingfisher. The Kingfisher needs steep riverbanks to build his nest, as there are not enough of such areas we help creating them. So hopefully the Kingfisher thrives and with good luck will increase their numbers!

My camera equipment is always close to hand. So when there is a opportunity to take photo's, I am not at a loss.

The camera equipment I use is a Nikon D 70s with a zoomlens 100-300mm, a 170-500 mm and a 105mm   f 2,8 macro lens.
